Jane & Paul Elvidge, founders of the PJE Foundation Charity, appreciate the satisfaction that comes from successful careers.
Jane completed her first degree in 1986 in Geophysics going on to work as a Geophysicist in energy exploration projects in several countries and as an Environmental Consultant in the UK. Paul was a management trainee in the construction industry and later studied for a Diploma in Management Studies at Hertfordshire University. He went on to become Managing Director of Chem-Dry Southern Services Ltd in 1994, Directeur Général of Chem-Dry Development France in 1996 and Managing Director of ENA in 1998. He is now a self-employed business consultant. "The purpose of the foundation is to award grants to special individuals who need assistance to make their goals a reality", Paul said. "Whilst further education in the UK might be aimed at the masses, there are still individuals who are held back from training in their chosen profession due to their circumstances."
They both appreciate the value of education for both vocational and personal development and they recently each completed Masters in Business Administration (MBA) at Warwick University (2005-2008).
